“A lovely break between Christmas and New Year. We have been to Norfolk many times over the last 30 years and stayed in many cottages but I must say this is one of the loveliest we have stayed in. The cottage is great and well equipped, would love to see the garden in the summer so we will be back. Thanks, Jane, for the lemon cake and wine, we all enjoyed it.”

Jo, Bill, Alice and Maureen (Mum), Mickleover, Derby, 27th December, 2022

“Our 2nd visit and certainly won’t be out last! We all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday again. Thank you, Jane, for the delicious lemon drizzle cake and wine. Ant and Dec loved their walks around the woods and on our many day trips. You have got the most delightful place in Tresco, Jane and Simon. There was everything we needed and the garden was ideal for Ant and Dec to have a little run around. Thank you once again. See you soon.”

“All had a wonderful first time at Tresco. Great walking straight from the doorstep through Dersingham Common up to Sandringham! Had lovely pub lunches and beer at The Feathers here and the White Horse at Holme. Superb meat / pies and fresh produce at Priors the butchers in the village. Tresco is in a very quiet location, very comfortable and well equipped for holiday living. Pretty garden proved to be full of wildlife – squirrels, woodpeckers, etc. Looking forward to returning soon. Thanks Jane for the gorgeous lemon cake and other produce. Much appreciated ”

“Thank you, Jane, for lemon cake – yummy! & wine also. What a week to have been visiting after the loss of our dear Queen. We have paid flowers at Sandringham which is so close to here and it was a really special time. Great cottage – everything we needed we found. Lovely garden and near so many beaches. Had great walks with our dog Arthur on Snettisham and Heacham beaches. Visited Holt – loved it there. We enjoyed visiting the old royal train station, it was beautiful. Recommend the Deli at Thornham for lunch – great deli and gift shop. Sunday lunch at The Feathers and Petals Tearoom at the end of the road – lovely people and dog friendly.”

Found Blickling Hall and gardens very interesting. Will definitely stay again when we return to the area. Thanks for the cake and bottles.”

“We have had a lovely week in the cottage. We felt very welcome right from the first conversation with you and everywhere was really clean on arrival – thank you for the goodies, especially the cake. We enjoyed the beaches (Old Hunstanton was our fave!); trip to see the seals; Hillside Horse Sanctuary + Sheringham. The walk through the woods to Sandringham is great too (kids loved the playground) + we saw wild deer around the entrance to them most evenings at dusk.”

Maria - “What a wonderfully peaceful cottage to spend the week. A great base from which to explore a beautiful part of Norfolk we’d not been to before. Also, such a relaxing place to stay put, sitting out in the pretty garden watching the blackbirds, or walking through the woods around Sandringham. Thank you, Jane for making the effort to cook me a vegan lemon drizzle cake – the best I’ve ever tasted! And the wine went down a treat too. We will definitely be recommending Tresco to friends and family.”
Sam – “Thank you for helping me find a horse to ride. I enjoyed going to the beach at Old Hunstanton and Sunday lunch at the Rose and Crown pub.”

“A great week for three adults in this great cottage. Particularly like the garden and were out in it every day except the wet one. Recommend ‘WALK 2’ in the Pub Walks Book. Also visited Brancaster, Wells next the Sea and walked from Hunstanton to Heacham and back. Went to King’s Lynn on the rainy day only to find The Story of King’s Lynn Museum flooded as were parts of the Minster! Luckily had a guided tour around the ancient Guildhall. Love the house, garden and area. Many thanks.”
